According to details, the body of slain Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara has been taken to the airport for departure to Sri Lanka. A photo of Sri Lankan manager Priya Natha Kumara’s coffin went viral on social media, which showed the English word “Head” written on the coffin and an arrow with it.
The face of the coffin is usually made of glass with a khaki face visible, but the coffin of Sri Lankan manager Priya Natha Kumara was made entirely of wood. The arrowhead on the coffin is designed to mark the head of Priyantha Kumara. The reason is that Priya Natha Kumara’s face was distorted and burnt and he could not see.
It may be recalled that Sri Lankan embassy officials rushed to the hospital early in the morning to pick up the body of Priyantha Kumara, a manager of a private factory and a Sri Lankan citizen who was brutally killed by a mob in Sialkot. Priyantha Kumara’s body was brought to Lahore from Sialkot. The body of Sri Lankan factory manager Priyantha Kumara will be flown to Sri Lanka with full respect and honor.
Priyantha Kumara’s body will be flown from Lahore to Colombo where her last rites will be performed. Special Representative of the Prime Minister, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Provincial Minister for Human Rights, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and senior officials of Foreign Office were present on the occasion.
