The Dutch company is expected to soon launch the first Sun-powered car, solar-powered vehicle on the market.

Then there’s lots of talk about electric vehicles available on the market. Companies are working on the issue, but you’ll soon see vehicles operating on sunlight on the roads.
According to the media outlet the company Light Air of the Netherlands is set to launch an electric vehicle that will run on sunlight soon. The distribution chain to customers is expected to begin shortly.
The company has built 949 vehicles equipped with 60-kW electric motors. They will feature solar panels on the roof as well as the doors.
In this way the company claims the electric cars are an important move towards the right direction, however, they’re charged with electricity, and electricity is made by crude oil.
The car can be charged solar electric vehicle with sunlight at any point of the day. The company claims that it can cover more than 700 km on a single charge due to solar power and battery electric.
The car’s price is 2.5 million euros which is over 53.5 millions Pakistani rupees. It will be on sale in Europe in the coming weeks.
However it is working on an affordable model, the manufacturing of the model is expected to commence in 2024 or 2025.
Based on reports, cost of a car with a low cost starts at the 30,000 euro mark, which is over 6.4 millions Pakistani.
