The dead body of Pakistani Mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara has been found 300 meters below the bottleneck at K2. A few weeks before, Ali Sadpara’s son Sajid Ali Sadpara had announced K2 ground search operation for his father and missing other climbers’ bodies in June.
This news was posted by K2 Treks and Tours on its Facebook page that the “Madison Mountaineering/Mashabrum Expeditions Treks and Tours” team found the dead body of Muhammad Ali Sadpara on Monday, 26 July 2021.
Sajid Sadpara started this search operation with Canadian filmmaker, Elia Saikaly, an award-winning adventure filmmaker who has a huge viewership on Discovery Channel, BBC, ESPN, HBO, NBC, and other media channels.
A journalist Angela Benavides has confirmed on Twitter that Garett Madison from Base Camp 3. His team Sherpas have found two bodies; one is Ali’s, while the other one could be of Snorri’s, they believe.
