The browser for web users, Internet Explorer, introduced by Microsoft in 1995, was shut down on June 15, 2022.

To mark the end of Internet Explorer’s era, Jong Ki-Young took 3330 hours to make the book.

The image went viral after Jong Ki-young put the book in his brother’s cafe in Gyeongju, Korea.
As per the engineer who wrote it, this book reflects his mixed thoughts about the old software that played a significant function in his work.
In the sense that Internet Explorer was the default browser used in South Korean government offices and various banks the country’s banks, it was widely employed in the country.
Jong Ki-Ying told the BBC that he created the book to put smiles on people’s faces. However, he was still amazed by how well-known the joke was.
